Bike trails of Crikvenica Riviera, Novi Vinodolski and Vinodol Valley.
The bike trails, to which we refer you in the text, from the sea will take you through the nearby Vinodol to even reach the forested hinterland. You will enjoy by absorbing beautiful images of diverse scenery. Thanks to the weather conditions that are perfect for almost all year round, you and your two wheels pet almost does not even have to be separated. In the Crikvenica-Vinodol region, you can expect a total of 300 km of various cycling trails, some of which are suitable for recreational cyclists, while others are more demanding and represent a challenge and a unique experience for top athletes and competitors of various cycling races.
On the Crikvenica Riviera, more and more accommodation options expand and adapt to bicycles, so nowadays the “Omorika” hotels in Crikvenica and “Katarina” in Selce and Autokamp Selce are also marked by bike friendly. Of course, we must not forget about private accommodation, within which you will find a bike&hike Kvarner Family renters.
In tourist-information centers, you can find biking trails on the Riviera of Crikvenica, Novi Vinodolski and Vinodol Valley.

The Blue Trail – The Recreational Trail
Novi Vinodolski – Bribir – Grižane – Tribalj – Crikvenica – Selce – Bribir – Novi Vinodolski
Starting from Novi Vinodolski, we ride along an asphalt road up a gentle hill through Vinodol Valley to Bribir (5 km) and Grizane (10 km). From Grizane, we descend to Tribalj (15 km), where we turn right and ride to Drivenik (18 km). From Drivenik, we ride back to Tribalj and turn right towards Crikvenica (28 km). In Crikvenica, we turn left to Selce (31 km) or right to Dramalj-Kacjak and Jadranovo. After leaving Selce along the main coastal road, we turn left to Bribir. At Barbara Pass (33 km), we turn right and descend through the plains of Bribirsko Polje and Novljansko Polje to Novi Vinodolski (38 km).
The Green Trail – The Sport Trail
Novi Vinodolski – Bater – Ravno – Stup – Križišće – Drivenik – Tribalj – Grižane – Bribir – Novi Vinodolski
Starting from Novi Vinodolski, we ride along an asphalt road to Bater and Pleteno (10 km, 630 metres above sea level), where we turn towards Ravno (22 km, 864 m.a.s.l.) and Fuzine, and continue further on to a stone monument (26 km, 840 m.a.s.l.), where we turn up a gravel road to Kalac hunting lodge (30 km, 1020 m.a.s.l.) After 100 metres, we turn right beneath Kobiljak. After 9 km, we reach the R4 crossroads and turn left towards Grizane. After going along an asphalt road, we reach the crossroads for the vantage points (48 km, 680 m.a.s.l.) We turn left and after another ten metres right towards Slipica vantage point. After 6 km, we arrive at Palisin (54 km, 660 m.a.s.l.), and then we turn right to Bribir and Novi Vinodolski.
The Brown Trail – The Circular Trail
Novi Vinodolski – Breza – Banska vrata – Bukovdol – Žestilac – Bribir – Novi Vinodolski.
From Novi Vinodolski, we ride along an asphalt road which ascends to Breze (16 km) and Banska vrata (20 km, 925 m.a.s.l.), where we turn left onto an asphalt forest road and continue through the forest to Ravno (38 km). At the tavern, we turn left, ride along an asphalt road for 0.7 km, turn left onto a gravel road, continue to Busiste (31 km), turn right to Bukovdol (37 km) and Zestilca (41 km), and then descend along an asphalt road to Bribir (45 km), where we turn left for Novi Vinodolski (50 km).
The Lily Trail
Novi Vinodolski – Bater – Breza – Bulici – Luka Krmpotska – Klenovica – Povile – Novi Vinodolski
The panoramic view from the heights of Velika Kapela takes in the sea, coast, islands of Krk, Cres and Lošinj, Istria, Mount Velebit and a variety of landscapes along the trail. The trail is also the habitat of the protected Carniolan lily. From Novi Vinodolski, we ride along an asphalt road which ascends to Bater (10 km) and Breze (16 km); half a kilometre after Breze, we turn right onto an asphalt forest road above the hamlet of Bulići (19 km, 900 m.a.s.l.), and then turn right onto a gravel road and ride to Krmpotska Luka (27 km). At the monument and crossroads, we turn right and descend down an asphalt road to Klenovica (36 km). There, we turn right and ride along the main coastal road to Povile (41 km) and Novi Vinodolski (44 km).
The Violet Trail
Novi Vinodolski – Bater – Bile – Zagreben – Alan – Podmelnik – Bater – Novi Vinodolski
From Novi Vinodolski, we ride along an asphalt road which ascends to Bater. After 9 km, we turn right and continue along a gravel road for 8 km. At the crossroads, we turn right and follow the asphalt road for 2 km to the village of Bile (19 km). There, we continue for 7 km along a gravel road to a crossroads with an asphalt road in Zagreben (26 km). We turn left and ride up an 8% ascent to Podbilo (30 km). In Podbilo, we turn left at the church for Alan (34 km), and then after 1.5 km turn left. After riding along an asphalt road for 0.5 km, we continue along a gravel road for 0.7 km, and then on asphalt to Podmelnik (38 km), where we turn right to Bater, continue for 2 km along an asphalt road, then turn right and ride along a gravel one for 4 more kilometres, and finally along asphalt to Novi Vinodolski (56 km).
The Yellow Trail – The View Trail
Novi Vinodolski – Bater – Breza – Luka Krmpotska – Podmelnik – Drsnik – Bater – Novi Vinodolski
From Novi Vinodolski, we ride along an asphalt road which ascends to Bater (10 km) and Breze (16 km); 0.5 km after Breze, we turn right onto an asphalt forest road above the hamlet of Bulici (19 km, 900 m.a.s.l.), where we turn right onto a gravel road and ride to Krmpotska Luka (27 km). At the monument and crossroads, we turn right and descend down an asphalt road to Podmelnik (31 km), turn right onto another asphalt road to Drsnik (34 km); turn onto a gravel road for Bater (39 km) and descend to Novi Vinodolski (48 km).
